Long Canyon

Uranium & Vanadium Project

Keep Up To Date

Uranium

Uranium is the New Gold Rush in America’s Energy Transition.

Vanadium

Powering the Future of Long-Duration Energy Storage

Mining

Idaho produces hundreds of millions in minerals annually.

Long Canyon Overview

USCM holds 70% the Long Canyon Project — a uranium and vanadium exploration asset located in Idaho.  The project includes 25 contiguous and 2 non-contiguous unpatented mining claims, covering approximately 535 acres of land managed by the BLM and the U.S. Forest Service.

Strategic Location

Located in mining-friendly Idaho, USA, with excellent access to infrastructure and federal land permitting.

Energy Metal Focus

Targeting high-grade uranium and vanadium, critical for nuclear energy and battery technologies.

Underexplored Potential

Historical uranium activity from the 1950s but minimal modern exploration, offering strong upside for discovery.

Low-Cost Acquisition

Structured with limited upfront cash and minimal shareholder dilution for USCM.

Promising Exploration Results

Soil and rock sampling returned anomalous values in uranium (up to 3,985 ppm), vanadium (up to 0.7%), lead (up to 9.4%), and other key metals.

Strong Local Expertise

Partnered with IDEX Metals Corp. combines deep experience and exploration success in the region.

Location & Tenure:

The Long Canyon Uranium and Vanadium Project is located in Idaho and comprises 27 unpatented mining claims covering ~535 acres. Twenty-five claims are on BLM-administered land, and two are on USFS-managed land.

Historical Work:

The site saw small-scale uranium mining in the 1950s. Modern exploration resumed between 2020–2022 with three phases of geochemical sampling.

Geological Setting:

The property is underlain by the Phosphoria Formation, known for phosphate, uranium, vanadium, and other critical metals. It is also prospective for MVT and CRD-style mineralization, with anomalous copper, molybdenum, nickel, cobalt, silver, lead, and zinc.

Geochemical Results:

Highlights from sampling include:

  • Uranium up to 521 ppm (rock) and 3,985 ppm (soil)

  • Vanadium up to 0.7% (rock) and 5,279 ppm (soil)

  • Lead up to 9.4%, Zinc up to 1.5%, and strong results for Mo, Ni, Co
